In this exhilarating marble class students will learn to make flowers utilizing the compression technique with rods of borosilicate glass. Students will learn color and tooling tricks for more interesting petals and leaves, as well as understand layering and the advantage of “compression “vs. “implosion”. There will be a strong emphasis on heat and flame management.
 
Skill level: intermediate boro/soft glass  
This class will be taught in boro, however the techniques are transferable to softglass, and softglass flameworkers are welcome to work softglass in this class.
